On Lunar New Year’s eve, we took mon bébé back to Liujia, Tainan. It was mon bébé’s first “home” trip. Our relatives, the 3 year-old Yu-yang in particular, gave a warm welcome to the little one. Cousin Yu-yang took mon bébé to the main hall to “bai-bai” and showed him how to play at the front yard. In addition, he gave mon bébé a toy Jeep as a gift. Many thanks to cousin Yu-yang for your generosity. Mon bébé looks forward to seeing you soon!!

Hualien

29/11/2012

We would like to thank auntie Yiling and uncle Philip for giving us a coupon to stay one night at Taroko Silks Place for free. Papa and I took this opportunity to revisit Taroko, Hualien, and mon bébé travelled with us, too. We had a great time enjoying Taroko’s spectacular scenery, local food, and an impressive night show featuring young aboriginal dancers.

After Taichung in July, mon bébé visted Tainan last week. This time, mon bébé took Taiwan High Speed Rail for the trip. At the speed of 300km/h, we arrived at Tainan when mon bébé just woken from his big nap.

Here are some spots we visited in this oldest city of Taiwan.

– Chihkan Tower, built by the Dutch in 1653.

– A japanese dinner gathering with Auntie Niki and Zoé.

– Confucian Temple, also called the Scholarly Temple, built in 1665.

– Du Hsiao Yueh, the best-known Tainan Dan-tsu noodles.

Fashion tips: Striped t-shirt and grey shorts are both local brands – made in Taiwan.

Summer trip

03/07/2012

This past weekend, mon bébé had a great trip in Taichung with A-Ma, Papa, Maman, Auntie Anna, and his 2 favorite cousins. A short trip, but we went to more places than we planned. We visited Carton King’s place, went to Lugan, and stayed at Hotel One. We tasted lots of flavors from Fengchia night market. We also had a 2-hour long French lunch…. Mon bébé discovered many new things and was excited all the way. Here are some snapshots from our fabulous trip.
